What's on Lori's Feet // Fall Edition Part Two
I love an update on a classic style. Every woman needs a great loafer in her closet, so why not one with a fur pompom in the perfect fall color? This oxblood loafer is one of my favorites because it's transitional, it's current, it's classic, and it looks great with everything.
I HATE RED. Really, I hate it. Or at least I did until I saw these. Despite my best efforts to shop styling the items of my closet around them, I've fallen head over heels. Whether it's one of those days when I'm in need of a little extra sass or I'm planning for a date night with my husband, red has become my fall go-to pop of color. Red is back with a vengeance, and I've made a deal with the devil.
Exciting things are happening in the world of pumps. I can't stop (and don't want to) wearing this block heel - now even better for the chillier weather with a high-cut vamp and sculptural details. Just as functional as they are sexy, I love that I can wear mine dressed down and dressed up just the same.
Fall and plaid are two peas in a pod - spaghetti and meatballs or peanut butter and jelly (I love to eat almost as much as I love shoes, but I digress). This plaid pair is especially fantastic for the surprising mix of colors and texture that really make any outfit pop - a cozy sweater with jeans or slacks and a crisp collared shirt. It's a serious shoe that doesn't take itself too seriously and that is why they're one of my picks for the season.
This is still one of my absolute favorite trends. Not only because I can be comfortable on my feet all day, but because I can look and feel cool while I'm doing it. These black and white sneakers by Veja are versatile and always my pick when I'm on the go. They're also an easy way to be fashion-forward without having to overthink things and we could all use a little bit more of that, right?
